Is your Easter follow-up strategy ready?

Is your follow-up strategy outlined and ready for Monday? Do you know who is going to execute it? And what your goal is? Do you have a schedule in place?

Here are three emails to send within two weeks of Easter.

Email #1: Thank you + Invitation

  • Send on Monday or Tuesday.

  • “Thank you for coming to Easter Sunday! Here is an invitation to our next event.”

  • Invite them to a new class to explore Christianity, a lunch with the pastor, or a special event for young families. Promote this to guests in this email within 48 hours of their visit.

Email #2: Note from the Pastor

  • Send 3-5 days after Email #1.

  • This should bring a personal touch to your church comms. This is a chance for the pastor to thank them for visiting, share more about what the church is about, and ask them to respond. This opens up two-way communication.

Email #3: Story of Life Change

  • Send one week after email #2

  • Use multimedia such as video to convey more about the heart of your church. Share a story of life change. Include upcoming service, gathering, and event details in the email. And encourage them to connect on social media, including links to social.
